I want to like this movie, if only based on the presence of two of my favorite stars. But behold....
I can't quite put my finger on why I hate Rani's ensemble. Maybe it's just overkill: vest and ruffly shirt and big belt and flouncy skirt and embroidered jacket. Or maybe it's the ho-down/Santa Fe hippie-dippie sort of look that is so out of synch with Saif's metro-fabulous suits. I realize she's out of this world or whatever, but I think there would have been prettier ways to set her off via clothing. Let's hope there are better options elsewhere in the film.
Tell you what, though: I would have loved that skirt and belt for my 7th grade spring dance in 1987.
You can't really see it in the top photo, but if you go to the official site, it looks she's making the face that one plasters on in moments of extreme social duress, trying to look happy but saying through clenched teeth "Saif, I thought we agreed: no more Yash Raj films with saccharine children!" Way more troubling than the clothes.

Beth - she has the dreaded Jaya B disease: fug so fugly, it's got a professional look to it.
Also, Michael Jackson called: he wants his jacket back.
I love this blog... but there is a glaring absence of Bollywood Fug... Have any of you seen the promos for LoveStory 2050??? Um, WOW.
Amrita - It's definitely some well-resourced fug (and therefore all the more curious).
Elizabeth - That one's like shooting fish in a barrel. But you've inspired me to go have a look at the official site. Wonder what the cat dragged in...
I saw really much useful information above!
