I heard there was a racial comment made in the movie. Something to the effect of Preitty Zinta's character praying not to marry a dark person.
Please tell me before I rent a rifle and fly to India and bombard Yashraj Films that it is a lie.
So, Indians will be that crass and racist. As a Nigerian, I am royally pissed.
What is with Amitabh making appearances in everything his son does these days and what is that awful thing he has on?
catwalq, I've heard that too, but I haven't seen the movie. At least one of our contributors has, so maybe she'll weigh in - and there's been some discussion of this question on her site. I've certainly seen other examples of racially insensitive language and jokes in Bollywood films before (which is not in any way an excuse).
Man, that makes me want to watch The Jerk again. Out of control!!!
Robin Williams could probalby cross over as well, especially since white people have to play all the crazy characters...

Ha! The Steve Martin connection is wonderful!!!
But, I may be the only person in the world who thinks that Amitabh looked great in that outfit and in this film! It fit the film, it suited him, and with long grey hair he looks much better than the over-frosted toupee he usually wears. Hell, the grey wig even matched his beard!
This is my first time here. If it isn't done already, maybe someone should do a post on toupees/hair replacements in Bollywood...
