Fashion has come under control of the lawnmower manufacturing industry, perhaps?

As a small comfort, the pink robot looks almost as bad.

shyam, according to Wikipedia, "he" is director Harry Baweja's son Harman Baweja.

Also from the film's Wikipedia entry: "Along with lead actors... a robot will also be seen playing a major role in the film, along with that, we also get to see a teddy bear which appears to be more than a toy."

As beth said, the robot is fugly; perhaps the teddy bear is too.

*off to search for picture of fugly toy*

hee hee hee... fifty years in the future and they still can't make a decent wig. Have to love the demented genius who put epaulettes on that ragged outfit Poor Man's Hrithik is wearing.

OMG Hindi sci-fi! Such an underexplored and promising genre! I am PUMPED.

Of course the teddy bear will be fugly! All the toys in Bollywood films I've seen so far are weird and terrfying. As evidence, I submit the nursery in Hum Aapke Hain Koun and the playroom in Hare Rama Hare Krishna. No wonder Zeenat ends up on drugs!

I just saw a piece in Wired that mentions her hair and includes the wonderful quote from the director: "We spent more than six months trying to figure out the right look."

SIX MONTHS and that's what you came with? Pink teddy bears and a clown wig? Money well spent.
