Naach or how little money can you spend on female costumes

What happens if you spend all your money on lights, camera, action and after the money is gone you remember that you forgot to order the costumes for the female lead? Just dig into the bins of the set designers leftovers and try to come up with anything to (at least almost) cover the essential parts of your heroine.

Fishnet looks nice over shiny bikinis:

Any kind of shiny shawl can be stiched on swimwear:

Unused lampshades can still make unconventional skirts:

Red, always an eyecatcher:

Feathers make fluffy accessory:

And last but not least. The less fabric you make the actress wear the less the male audience will care
what she wears and if you happen to miraculously have some leftover fabric, before wraping it around the heroines body, put it on your heros head:

Hahahaha. Speaking of "naach", the three outfits that Rani M. wears in "Nach Baliye" in Bunty aur Babli are totally hideous. She starts off with black leather hot pants paired with fishnets (as much as we all like Rani, she should NOT be wearing such tiny shorts). The second outfit is every worse--baby blue velvet bell-bottom-like pants with silver accents. Equally awful are Abhishek's ridiculous get-ups.

OH, OH, OH, Preity's black ensemble in "It's The Time To Disco" is more awful than you think. My mother pointed out that her pants are pulled up too high and they should ride lower on her hips.

Really, I could do this all day long.

Pooja, I am so with you on "Nach Baliye," which is too bad, because Rani rocks and it's a fine song in a wonderful movie.

And if you can do this all day, you gotta submit some entries! :)

Beth, don't worry, I am rounding up some pics :). Expect some submissions soon.

for the film makers it is all about showing as much flesh as possible, in there everlasting conquest of showing off the female form as much as possible the costumes become more ludicrous and bizzare just check out the costumes or lack of costumes in the film'naach'
